Snippet video maker
A free tool at tools.aden.space/snippet. Drop a song and its cover, pick one of five looks and the 10 seconds on the waveform, and a 1080x1920 MP4 for TikTok, Reels and Stories downloads. Made on the device, nothing uploaded, no account.
What it is
Turn a song into a 10-second vertical video for TikTok, Reels and Stories.
Open tools.aden.space/snippet (or snippet.aden.space). No account needed: the
video is made in your browser and the song is never uploaded.
Using it
-
Drop the song and its cover together, or press "Choose songs" and pick both. The title and artist fill in from the file name ("Artist - Title.mp3"). Without a cover the looks use a gradient.
-
Pick a look: Disc, Dark, Card, Poster, Type or Sheet. Drag the window on the waveform to the 10 seconds you want, and press play beside it to hear it.
-
Click a part of the preview (the disc, the title, the waveform, aden.space) and drag it where you want it. Its bar holds its options: the disc's label (the Aden logo, or none for the record's spindle hole), the title and artist, the waveform's style (Bars or Mirror) and bar width. The sliders button holds the artwork (add or swap it there) and what shows on the frame.
-
Press Export. The MP4 downloads when it's done, usually in a few seconds. The arrow beside it exports the Story, Feed and Wide sizes in one zip, or saves the frame as an image. Click the title to add a line above it ("Out Friday"); the sliders switch the bottom of the frame to a link sticker spot or a swipe-up cue.
-
Several songs at once? Drop them all (with their covers) or pick them together. The arrows beside the file name step through them, keeping the look; a cover named like a song ("Song.mp3", "Song.jpg") goes with it. The list button beside them makes one video of all of them (the first six): five seconds of each, each with its own cover and name.
-
"Save to Aden" opens Aden in a new tab and saves the song there as a track. Without an account you sign up first in that tab.
-
Promoting a show? The calendar button beside the file name holds its dates: the day, a time if you want one, the city and the venue. Add a date for every show. Once one is in, the looks become Dates (the run of shows as a list) and Flyer (the first date large over the artwork), with your song under them. Remove the dates to get the song looks back.
-
Lyrics: the text button holds them. Lyrics saved in the file's tags come in by themselves (timed ones play at once). Paste lyrics and "Time to the song" times them to the vocals, or leave it empty to have them written from the vocals, as on the lyrics tool. Timed lyrics add the Lyrics look and the Lyrics option at the bottom of the frame, and go with the song on Save to Aden.
-
Milestones: the trophy holds a number, what it counts and where (1,000,000 streams on Spotify). With a number in, the looks become Count and Plaque.
The song's BPM and key are found in the background: the vinyl turns at the song's tempo, and Key and BPM can print under the title. Clicking the title offers lines for above it ("Out now", "Pre-save now").
Space plays and stops the preview.
Every look carries a small aden.space mark at its foot, as in Aden; you can hide it, and the file's title tag still credits Aden. Making video needs Chrome, Edge or Safari 17 or newer.
Smart paste and drop
Paste or drop anything onto a track, album, session, gallery or demo inbox and it lands where it belongs.
