Email attachment import

What it is

The file you need is usually already in your inbox. The contract the label sent, artwork from the designer, a stem pack from your mixer. From email lives in the Upload chevron on the upload box and lets you take those attachments straight out of your mail, so you skip the download-then-find-it-again detour.

It reads the same mailbox you already connected for email import and the email panel on your records. Nothing is uploaded until you say so: picked attachments land in the upload box's selection first, exactly as if you had dragged them in from your desktop.

Using it

1. Open any files or documents page, open the Upload chevron, and choose From email.
2. Pick the mailbox if you have more than one connected, then narrow the list search by sender, subject or filename, and switch between the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
3. Tick the attachments you want. Files bigger than your plan's upload limit are shown but can't be picked.
4. Choose Add files. They appear in the upload box, where you can rename them (or put them in a folder with /) before uploading.

Only files that fit the box are listed. A documents box won't offer you the .mp3 in an email, and a cover-art box only shows images.

No mailbox connected yet

If nobody has connected Gmail or Outlook, the picker says so and links to your team's inbox settings. Connecting is read-only: Aden never sends or deletes mail on its own.
