Loudness check

A free tool at aden.space/loudness. Drop a master to see its integrated LUFS, true peak and loudness range, measured in the browser the way streaming services measure, and how much Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, Tidal and Deezer turn it down or up. Save it as a track in Aden from there.

What it is

How loud your master plays on streaming services, before you release it. Open aden.space/loudness, or search "loudness" or "LUFS" in ⌘K. No account needed, and the file never leaves your browser.

  • Drop a master (WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF or M4A) or press Upload.
  • LUFS: the integrated loudness, the number Spotify and the others normalize by.
  • True peak: the highest peak between samples. Above −1 dBTP it shows in amber: peaks that high can clip once a service encodes the file.
  • Range: how much the loudness moves through the track, in LU.
  • On streaming services: how many dB each service turns the master down, or up for a quiet one. Point at a value for the service's rule.
  • Save as track puts the file in Aden with its BPM and key. Without an account it waits in your browser while you sign up.
