Desktop review inbox and send for review
A bounce goes to one person for a listen from its context menu, and the desktop Inbox tab holds what is waiting on you, audio included.
Send a bounce for review
Right-click any audio file on the Local tab and choose Send for Review…. Pick the track, name the version, pick who should listen. The file uploads as a version of that track and the person gets a notification. One step, no web app.
A version's review state, and withdrawing a request nobody has listened to yet, live on the track's versions page in Aden. The desktop track page stays about the local project and its files.
Inbox
Inbox in the Local sidebar (pin it to keep it at the top) has two lists:
- For your listen: bounces sent to you, newest first, with the audio right there. Playing marks it listened. Write a note, then Approve or Request changes. The sender gets a notification with your note.
- Notes on your tracks: other people's comments on versions of tracks you can see, from the last 30 days, with the timestamp. Reply inline.
Offline, the inbox shows what this Mac last saw. Replies queue and send when you are back, like every other desktop comment.

The desktop app stays signed in without a network, shows the lists it last saw, and keeps tracks on the machine until you put them on Aden.
Desktop split screen
Up to five surfaces side by side in the desktop shell, opened by dragging any rail button or sidebar row onto the page, or by Alt-clicking a link, a row or a tab.
