Split sheet generator

What it is

A split sheet records who wrote a song and what percentage each writer owns. Make one at aden.space/tools/split-sheet, free and without an account.

• Song: the same card as creating a track in Aden: cover, title and date. Drop the song's audio to play it and see its BPM and key; it stays in your browser and the title fills from the file name. The date defaults to the day you download.
• Writers: the writers card from creating a track. Click it to edit everyone in the collaborators table: name, PRO, role and share, with IPI and publisher in each row's "..." menu.
• Shares: the total above the table turns green at 100%. "Split evenly" divides 100% between the writers (33.34, 33.33, 33.33 for three).
• Master owners: optional. Add them to print a master column next to the composition one. Someone who is both a writer and a master owner signs once.
• Download PDF: unlocks once the title is set, every writer is named and the shares total 100%. Its tooltip says what is missing.
• Undo: removing a row or splitting evenly shows a toast with Undo.

Nothing you type is sent to Aden. The PDF is drawn in your browser.

After the download, "Keep this split with the track in Aden" opens signup (or, signed in, a new track with the song title filled in).
