Copy uploads

What it is

When you upload a version, Aden can also keep a copy somewhere you already use.

SoundCloud gets a new track for that version. SoundCloud cannot replace the audio on a track that already exists, so each upload is a new track. SoundCloud settings (in the Copy to menu, and behind the cog on the Integrations row) choose whether it goes up private, public, or matches the Aden track's visibility, whether it takes the track title or the version name, and whether the description, genre and tags, and artwork come along. Everything defaults to private, track title, copy all. Stored per team in team_app_integrations.export_settings.

The account name on each connected row links to that account: the SoundCloud profile, or the cloud's web home.

Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box and pCloud get the file under an Aden folder, in the same Tracks/.../Versions/... layout as desktop sync. A later upload of the same path overwrites that file.

Nothing is copied until you connect the account and its switch is on.

Using it

Team Integrations lists every account. Press Connect on one, and its switch turns on: from then on every new version is copied there, from any device or member.

On create track, the same list sits under the public address. On add version it sits above the file cards. Each row opens the way the team set it. Flip a switch to skip or add a copy for this upload only. Rows that are not connected show Connect right there.

A failed copy does not undo the file in Aden. Integrations shows the last error under the list.

When an account is full (Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive, Box or pCloud out of space, SoundCloud out of upload time), Aden skips the copy and turns that switch off. Free up space, then turn it back on.
