Posts

Create and schedule organic, sponsored, and inspiration posts for a team or org, then fan them out to connected social accounts (Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest).

What it is

Posts are the way artists and labels publish content. Articles, announcements, and social updates, from inside Aden. A post starts as a draft and can be published to your public profile, sent to social media accounts you've connected, or both.

There are three kinds of posts:

  • Organic: content you create and own entirely. Most posts are organic.
  • Sponsored: a post paid for by a label or brand (organisation). The sponsor must approve the post before it can go live.
  • Inspiration: internal reference content (mood boards, references) that is never published publicly.

A post can be linked to a track, album, tour, event, mix, or milestone so your audience always knows what it's promoting.

Using it

Write a post. From your team's Posts page, click New post. Give it a title and write your content. You can add a cover image, a YouTube embed link, and an optional promotional link.

Connect social accounts. Go to Settings → Integrations and connect your Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest or Reddit account. Each platform uses OAuth. You'll be redirected to the platform and back. Reddit can be connected; publishing a post to a subreddit is not available yet.

Pick where it publishes. In the post editor, the Publish to row under the preview shows the accounts this post goes to. Change opens a dialog to tick connected accounts, connect a new one, or mark platforms you post to by hand. You can pick multiple accounts on the same platform (for example, two Instagram accounts).

Test the caption first. Under the preview, Caption test scores the caption out of 100 for one of the post's platforms and lists what to change: lead with a stronger line, name the song, ask for one thing, drop the hashtag wall. Each platform has its own checklist, so the same caption can score differently for TikTok and for X. Edit, then test again.

Remix it against the findings. Remix rewrites the caption using the same list the test just produced, in your own voice and only with facts the post already carries: it will not invent a release date or a studio story. The rewrite is shown, not applied. Take it with Use this caption or discard it.

Publish now or schedule it. Hit Publish now to fan out immediately, or pick a date and time to schedule. Scheduled posts are queued in a durable workflow and publish automatically. You can cancel or reschedule before the time arrives.

Manage sponsored posts. If a post is sponsored, it stays as a draft until you send it to the sponsor for approval. Once they approve, you can publish it. Sponsors see pending posts in their org's Posts section.

See what's waiting on a shoot. A post planned in a visual format (Reel, Story, Carousel, Photo, Video, Short-form, Live, Featured artist) with no image, video, cover or YouTube link attached is marked Needs asset. It shows as a camera flag on the card, turns amber in the calendar, and has its own filter, so you can pull up everything that needs recording and shoot it in one batch instead of one clip at a time. Written formats (Article, Thread) are never flagged, and a post that already went out never is either.

Read the dates on a card. A post card shows the window it runs for: one date when it is a single day, Jun 1 - Jun 8, 2026 when it has a real end. A post created without an end gets a one-year window, which reads as open-ended, so those cards show the start date alone.

View published posts. Your published posts appear on your public profile page at /profile/[team]/posts, each with its own URL at /profile/[team]/posts/[slug].

Schedule from MCP. On Lite or higher, connect the Aden product MCP and call post with create_scheduled (title, copy, future datetime, channels) or schedule for an existing post. It queues the same social pipeline as the editor. It does not publish immediately.
