Zero data retention
A switch on a user, team or organisation that keeps every AI call on providers that retain nothing.
What it is
Zero data retention (ZDR) makes Aden's AI features use only providers that keep none of your prompts or replies and never train on them. It is off by default. Turn it on for yourself, for a team, or for a whole organisation.
Using it
- For yourself: Account, Privacy, then switch on Zero data retention. On the phone app it's under Account, Safety.
- For a team: Team settings, Chats. Team admins can change it.
- For an organisation: Organisation settings, General. Owners and admins can change it, and it then applies to every team the organisation holds.
AI features with no zero-retention provider stop working while it is on, instead of sending your data somewhere that keeps it. Your own AI keys (team settings, AI keys) run under your provider's own terms.
