Entity sidebar and banner layout
Immersive cover art in the track, album, playlist, mix and camp sidebars, a seam to move the title up or down, drag-to-reorder sections, and a resizable immersive team banner.
What it is
The details sidebar beside a track, album, playlist, mix or camp can show its cover art immersive: edge to edge from the top of the panel, fading into the panel behind the title. You decide where the title starts, and in what order the sections below it (Details, Labels, Shares, ...) appear. The immersive team banner on a team page can be made taller or shorter the same way.
Using it
- Immersive cover: hover the cover and click the expand button, or search "immersive cover" in ⌘K. Click it again to contain the cover.
- Move the title: with an immersive cover, drag the line just above the title up or down. Arrow keys work once it is focused. Double-click resets it to a square cover.
- Reorder sections: hover a section and drag the grip in the left margin, or focus the grip and use the arrow keys.
- Team banner height: with an immersive banner, drag its bottom edge. Double-click resets it.
These are your own settings: they apply to every track (or album, playlist, mix, camp) you open, on every device, and nobody else sees them.
Links on tracks and sessions
Keep any link with a track or a studio session, like a lyrics doc, a stems folder or a Notion page.
Reviews on any link
Ask anyone, on Aden or not, for a review on a page in another app (a DISCO player, a Samply link, a Session Studio song, a Google Doc); they answer on a public page with like or pass and a note.
