Install Aden as an app
Install the web app on a phone's home screen or a computer's dock, with the browser's install dialog showing real Aden screens.
What it is
Aden runs in your browser, and you can also install it: it gets its own icon on your home screen or in your dock, and opens in its own window without the browser's address bar.
Installing it
- Chrome or Edge, on a computer or Android: click the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Aden. The install dialog shows a preview of Aden before you confirm.
- iPhone and iPad: tap Share (under ••• on iOS 26), then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Safari on a Mac: choose File, then Add to Dock.
- Anywhere: press ⌘K and type "install". Aden opens your browser's install dialog, or shows the steps for your browser.
Firefox on a computer can't install web apps. Use Aden Desktop instead, from the download page.
Long-press the installed icon (or right-click it in the dock) to jump straight to New track, Tracks, Calendar or Chat.
Device registry
Your desktop installs, kept as one jsonb on your user row, so the track page can say which of your machines holds a project and whether it is newer than what was pushed.
Branded mobile apps
Every team and organisation can have its own iOS + Android app, built by Aden or linked from the stores, with download buttons on its public profile.
