Drum ideas in comments
A track comment that gives drum feedback ("the kick is too boomy", "change the clap") gets three sounds under it that do what it asks, made by the drum synth behind tools.aden.space.
What it is
Write what you think of a drum in a version comment and Aden answers with three alternatives you can hear right there. It works for kicks, snares, claps, hi-hats, crashes and rumbles.
Using it
- Comment on a track version like you normally would: "the kick is way too boomy", "hats are too harsh", "I don't like this snare", "change the kick to an 808", "tune the kick to F".
- Under the comment, Kick ideas (or the drum you named) shows three buttons. Click one to hear it.
- Hover the arrow beside an idea to download it as a WAV, or open it in the tools to keep shaping it and dig through more like it.
On the phone, the comment shows a Kick ideas link that opens the first idea in the tools.
The ideas come from the comment's words, so editing the comment changes them. A comment that only mentions a drum ("love the kick") gets none.

Data table column resizing
Every data table's columns resize by dragging a header edge. Widths are remembered per table in the browser; double-click an edge to reset.
