Aden

Load a plugin into your DAW

Search a plugin in Aden and put it on the selected track in REAPER or Ableton Live.

With REAPER or Ableton Live open, Aden puts any installed plugin on the track you have selected. No digging through your DAW's browser.

  1. Select a track in your DAW.
  2. Press ⌃Space (or ⌘K in Aden) and type the plugin's name, like pro-q.
  3. Press Enter. The row says Load in REAPER or Load in Ableton Live.

The plugin opens on that track. With no track selected, REAPER adds one.

Load from the Plugins page

  1. Open Plugins (⌘K, type plugins).
  2. Hover a plugin and click Load.

When two DAWs are open, Aden loads into the one in front.

Set up Ableton Live once

Live needs a small helper from Aden the first time.

  1. Click Load on any plugin, or press Enter on it in search. Aden adds the helper and says what to do next.
  2. Restart Live.
  3. In Live, open Settings, then Link, Tempo & MIDI. Under Control Surface, pick AdenBridge.

From then on, loads go straight in whenever Live is open.

REAPER needs no setup.

When a plugin won't load

  • Your DAW doesn't list it: rescan plugins in your DAW, then try again. In Live, turn on its format under Settings, Plug-Ins.
  • Won't load on the Plugins page: click Fix first. See Fix plugins that won't load.
  • AAX only: AAX plugins run in Pro Tools only.

FL Studio, Logic and others

FL Studio doesn't let other apps add plugins. Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Bitwig and Cubase aren't supported yet. In those, Load is greyed out and says why: add the plugin from your DAW's own browser.

Ask your AI assistant

With Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Grok connected to the desktop app, ask "Put Pro-Q 3 on this track". It loads into the DAW in front, the same way.
