How the free tools work
Open any free tool, keep your files on your device, and bring what you made into Aden as a track.
Aden's free tools run in your browser at tools.aden.space. They are free, need no account, and most of them work in all of Aden's languages.
Open a tool
- Go to tools.aden.space and pick a tool, or press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows) and type its name.
- New to a tool? Press the question mark in its bar for a short tour of the parts that are easy to miss.
You can also search for any tool in Aden's own ⌘K. In the desktop app, a tool opens in its own window. Typing a key such as "E minor" in ⌘K opens the Key finder on it.
Bring your work into Aden
Most tools have a button that turns what you made into a new track in Aden. Depending on the tool it reads Save to Aden, Save as track or Add to Aden.
- Press the button. Aden opens in a new tab with the track ready to create.
- No account yet? Sign up in that tab. Your work waits for you.
- Check the details and create the track.
Your files stay with you
Most tools work entirely on your device, so your music is never uploaded. Two exceptions:
- The lyrics transcriber uploads the song to read the vocals, then deletes it within a day.
- Proof of creation sends only your file's fingerprint, never the file.
In your DAW and AI apps
The plugins that come with the Aden desktop app bring the Loudness check, Key finder and Mix vs reference into your DAW, and BPM to ms follows your project's tempo. The drum generators come as an instrument, Aden Drums. See the DAW plugin.
Several tools also work inside ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps. See AI app editions.
