Agency commission and statements

Set a booking agency's commission per artist, see the agent on every show, and pull statements per artist or agent.

A booking agency takes a share of the fee on every show it books, usually 10 to 20 percent. Set a rate per artist, and every confirmed show books the commission into your income and the artist's expenses.

Set an artist's rate

  1. In your business, open Teams and open the artist.
  2. On the Commission card, set the rate new bookings take.

Upcoming shows without a rate take it straight away. Owners and admins set rates.

Change it for one show

On a show, the Commission button beside the fee shows your agency, the rate and the agent. Agency members can change the rate for that show or pick another agent. The artist sees it read only.

Agents

Whoever books a show becomes its agent: the member who invited the artist, shared the prospect or added the show. On a prospect, pick the agent in its sheet; it carries over when you share the booking. Filter the prospecting board and the events list by agent.

Statements

  1. Open Financials → Statements in your business.
  2. Pick a period.
  3. Filter by artist or agent, and group by either.

You see the shows, gross fees, commission, and what's paid and outstanding. Mark a show's commission paid when the money lands, or a whole artist at once. Export the statement as a CSV or a PDF.

Artists find their own statement under Financials → Statements once an agency books them.
