Collect files with an upload link
Send a link that lets anyone drop files straight into your team or organisation, no account needed.
An upload link works the other way round from a share link: people open it and send you files. They land where you chose, tagged with whoever sent them.
Create a link
Pick the place the files should go:
- Covers, banners or media: press Add, then the Ask someone tab. Copy the open link, or press Create link if there is none yet.
- Files or team documents: choose Request files. Each request makes a new link.
- A folder: in any file tree, open a folder's menu and choose Request files here. Everything sent lands in that folder.
- Transfers: Request files sits in the chevron beside New transfer. Files arrive as a received transfer.
- An organisation's files: open Files on the organisation and choose Request files in the chevron beside Upload. Received files land in a folder named after the link. Read only roles see the button turned off with the reason.
Send it
Copy the link, or type email addresses under it and press Send. If no link exists yet, sending makes one first.
Set limits
The row under the link sets the title, when the link closes and how many uploads it takes, from one upload to unlimited. Links can close after 1 or 7 days, or never. Closing after 30 or 60 days needs Pro.
The links count (for example 3 links) opens every link for that place. From there you can copy a link, show its QR code, turn it off or delete it.
What senders see
They open the link, choose their files, add a note and press Upload. People who aren't signed in can add their name and email. People who are signed in see who they're signed in as, and the upload is credited to their account. Signing in never adds them to your team.
Under the form, the page links to your public pages that have something on them, so a sender can go straight on to your music and next shows.
