Practise singing in tune
Sing a song or a warm-up and see your pitch against the tune, moved to your range, with the track and its words.
The Singing coach shows your pitch against the tune as you sing. Free, no account needed.
Pick a view
- Lane: the tune scrolls past and your voice draws a line through it. Each note fills when you held it in tune. A breath mark shows before each phrase.
- Keys: the tune falls onto piano keys, and your voice is a light sliding over them.
- Warm-ups: one note of a pattern at a time, with a meter for flat or sharp, in levels from one held note to climbing patterns.
Add a song
The Piano coach's songs are here too, with Ode to Joy built in. Press Add a song for a MIDI file, or a recording of a voice on its own (an acapella). Its tune is found in your browser.
Sing with the track
- Add an acapella or a song recording. It plays under you, in the song's key and at its speed.
- Press Mix in the bar to balance Track (the recording), Melody (the tune on piano) and Backing (the rest of the song).
- Wear headphones so the microphone hears only you.
A recording's words show under the tune, the line being sung and the next. To read them, the recording is uploaded once and deleted within a day. Show the words in Settings turns them off.
Fit it to your voice
- In Settings, press Find my range and sing from low to high.
- Warm-ups then climb inside your range, and Key moves a song to fit it.
Breath and posture
Turn on the camera and the coach watches quietly: shoulders rising as you breathe in, a lifting chin or a small mouth on a high note. It shows one short tip at a time. The picture never leaves your browser.
