Check if an email address works
See which addresses can receive mail before you send a campaign or a pitch, and fix the typos.
The email checker tells you whether an address can receive mail. Free, no account needed, up to 1,000 addresses at a time.
Check addresses
- Open the email checker.
- Paste one or more addresses, one per line or separated by commas.
- Press Check.
- Each address gets a verdict:
- Valid: the domain takes email.
- Risky: probably a typo, or a throwaway inbox that stops working within hours.
- Invalid: mail can't arrive, because the address is written wrong or the domain takes no email.
- Unknown: the domain's mail servers didn't answer. Check again in a minute.
- Press Copy valid addresses to take the good ones with you.
A valid result means the domain takes email. It can't promise the person reads that inbox.
In Aden
The same check runs inside Aden:
- Campaigns: next to your recipients, N won't arrive lists the addresses that can't get your email, with a fix for typos. Aden skips them when it sends, and they count as skipped.
- Contacts: importing a list shows the same button before you import.
- Your public forms: fan signups, booking requests, camp signups and demo inboxes suggest a fix when someone mistypes their address, like Did you mean name@gmail.com?
