Share one mouse between your computers
Move the pointer off one screen onto your other computer, Mac or Windows, and type there with the same keyboard.
Signed in to Aden on two computers? Push the pointer off the edge of one screen and it carries on on the other. Your keyboard types wherever the pointer is. A Mac and a Windows PC work together too.
Set it up
- Open Aden on both computers, signed in to the same account.
- On a Mac, open Settings, choose Shared mouse, and press Allow if Aden asks for Accessibility. Add Aden in System Settings.
- Under Your computers, choose where the other computer sits: Left, Right, Above or Below.
Now move the pointer off that edge of your screen.
Bring the pointer back
- Move it back over the same edge.
- Or press Esc.
Use a teammate's computer
- In Settings, Shared mouse, choose Link a person and pick someone from your teams.
- Their computer asks them. Once they press Allow, move the pointer off your screen onto theirs.
- To end it, press Stop beside their name. They can stop it any time from their Settings too, or with the shortcut their computer shows.
Turn it off
- To keep the pointer on this computer, switch off Move the pointer onto your other computers.
- To stop your phone and other computers from controlling this one, switch off Control from your other devices.
You can also search "Shared mouse" in ⌘K.
