Add new exports from your DAW
Export a song and Aden offers to turn it into a track, a new version or a track file, in one click.
Export a song from your DAW and the desktop app notices. A Suggested strip of cards appears at the top of Home, and a notification tells you what it found.
Accept a suggestion
Each card is one file. Type over the title, set the status and tags, then press the main button. Its menu holds the other places the file could go.
- Upload: an export with no track yet becomes a new track. You can include the project file beside it.
- Add version: an export named after one of your tracks becomes its next version.
- Start track: a new DAW project with no bounce yet becomes a track, with the project as its project files. The idea is on Aden before the export is.
- Add file: artwork, a contract or a project named after a track goes into that track's files.
When a project sits in its own folder, Aden offers to send the whole folder, with its size. Folders over 2 GB start unticked. If your team does not have room, the card says how much is needed and how much is left.
To start a track from a project already on Home, open the project's menu and choose Start track.
Keep it quiet
- Only files that land after the app starts are suggested, never what was already on your disk.
- Files inside a folder that already syncs to Aden are never suggested.
- Snooze a card for 7 days or hide it for good. Both can be undone.
- The cog on Projects shows how many are parked, brings them back with Show again, and turns the notifications off.
