Choose how an edge is triggered
Run different actions on the same edge with a key held, a rest first, a corner, both sides at once, or a circle.
Each row in Settings → Controls, under Aden Edge, has a trigger: how your finger moves to run it.
- Choose … on the row.
- Pick a Trigger:
- Slide: one finger along the edge.
- Rest, then slide: leave your finger on the edge for a moment first.
- From a corner: start in a corner of the trackpad.
- fn + slide, ⌥ + slide, ⌘ + slide, ⌃ + slide: slide with that key held.
- Both sides together or Both sides apart: one finger on each side edge, moving the same way or opposite ways. Aden stops the page from scrolling while you do it.
- Circle, key held: hold fn, ⌥, ⌘ or ⌃ and draw circles anywhere, like turning a knob.
Two rows can share an edge when their triggers differ, like Brightness on a plain slide and Undo on a rest first.
