Download a version in any format

Every version downloads as the file you uploaded. When you need another format, Aden converts it for you on your computer, so nothing is uploaded again.

Download a version

1. On the track's Versions page, open the version's … menu.
2. Hover Download.
3. Pick a format:
   • WAV · Original (or MP3, FLAC) is the file as it was uploaded.
   • MP3 · 320 kbps, M4A · 320 kbps and OGG · 320 kbps are small files for phones, email and DJ sets.
   • WAV · 24-bit and FLAC · Lossless keep every detail.
4. A message says when the file is ready, and it saves to your downloads.

You can also type the format in the menu's search, like "mp3".

Good to know

• Aden converts from the best file the version has, so an MP3 made from a WAV upload sounds as good as an MP3 can.
• FLAC isn't offered when the version only has an MP3: it would be just as lossy, only bigger.
• A long WAV takes a few seconds to convert. Keep the tab open until the message says it's ready.
• If your browser can't write a format, the message says so. Download the original, or try another browser.
