Organise and delete versions
Tag versions, mark the final one, open and close them, and delete the ones you no longer need.
From the second version on, versions stack on a timeline. Each entry says when it landed and, on shared tracks, who uploaded it.
Mark the final version
Open a version's … menu and promote it. The promoted version carries a Latest or Final label, and it's what plays and shows everywhere the track appears: the board, the player, share pages.
Tag versions
Click a version's tags to add or remove them, or type a new one. An untagged version shows + Tag. You can also type "Tag" in ⌘K. Tags help search: "instrumental" finds the track it belongs to.
Open and close versions
Click a version's dot on the timeline, its entry, or the chevron on its card. Cmd or Ctrl click a dot to open that version alone and close the rest. Aden remembers which versions you left open, on every device.
- Click the timeline to hide or show the date column. Press, hold and drag it sideways to resize it.
- Drag the bottom edge of a version's tabs to make every card taller or shorter. Double-click the edge to reset.
Search sits above the list. Sort and Compare join it from the second version on.
Delete versions
To delete one, open its … menu and delete it. It leaves the list as soon as you confirm, and comes back with the reason if the delete fails.
To delete several:
- Hold ⌘ (Ctrl on Windows) and click the dots on the timeline.
- In the bar at the bottom, pick Delete. The same bar offers Share and Compare.
- Press Undo in the message if you change your mind.
People without delete access see the button greyed out, with the reason.
