Copy versions to SoundCloud or a cloud
Send each new version to SoundCloud or an Aden folder in Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive, Box or pCloud.
When you upload a version, Aden can keep a copy where you already work. SoundCloud gets a new track for each version, since SoundCloud can't replace a track's audio. Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box and pCloud get the file in an Aden folder, laid out by track.
Copy every new version
- Open your team's Integrations.
- Open a connected platform's … menu and pick Copy uploads.
- Allow copies.
From then on, every new version is copied there, from any member and any device. The card reads "Copies new versions" while it's on.
For SoundCloud, SoundCloud settings choose private, public or matching the track, which title to use, and whether the description, genre, tags and artwork come along. Everything starts private.
Copy one version
Open the version's … menu and pick Copy to. A connected account copies it right away; the rest show Connect. Once a version has a copy, the same menu offers Open on SoundCloud or Open in Dropbox.
When you create a track, the same list sits under the public address. Flip a switch to skip or add a copy for that upload only.
When a copy fails
A toast says why, with Retry. The file in Aden is never affected. When an account runs out of space, or SoundCloud out of upload time, Aden skips the copy and turns that switch off. Free up space, then turn it back on.
