Answer from a notification
Reply to a chat or a comment, tick off a task, judge a demo or a version, or turn down a sign-in without opening Aden.
Some notifications from Aden carry buttons. Use them to answer right where the notification shows up, on the lock screen or at the top of your screen.
Reply to a chat or a comment
- Touch and hold the notification (iPhone) or pull it down (Android).
- Tap Reply.
- Write your answer and tap Send.
A reply to a comment lands under that comment on the track, at the same moment in the song.
Tick off a task
When someone assigns you a task, touch and hold the notification and tap Mark done.
Accept or pass on a demo
When a demo comes in, touch and hold the notification and tap Accept or Pass. Tap the notification itself to listen first.
Answer a review
When someone asks you to review a version, touch and hold the notification:
- Listen opens the track on that version and starts playing it.
- Approve approves it.
- Request changes lets you write what should change, and sends it.
A sign-in you didn't ask for
When a browser asks to sign in to your account, touch and hold the notification and tap This wasn't me to turn it away. Approve… opens Aden and asks for Face ID first.
Good to know
- On iPhone, notifications from one chat, or about one track, stack together.
- On a locked iPhone, Face ID or your passcode is asked before anything is sent.
- If something can't be sent, Aden sends you a notification with what you wrote. Tap it to open the right place and try again.
- The buttons follow the language you picked in Aden. Open Aden once after changing it.
- Turn notifications on or off under Profile → Account → Notifications.
