Record ideas and add things fast

Record a voice note as a track, import old recordings, and send anything from another app straight into Aden.

Catch an idea the moment it comes, and bring in what is already on your phone.

Record an idea

  1. Tap Track in the create sheet, or hold the Add tab to start recording at once.
  2. Press the red button. Pause sits beside it.
  3. Stop when you are done. The take joins the list. Record more takes for the same track if you like.

You can leave the app or lock your phone; the take keeps recording, with its timer on the lock screen. While you record, Aden writes down what you said and fills in the title, lyrics, description and to-dos. Anything you type yourself stays.

The starred take becomes the track's audio, the others are saved on it as muted stems. Choose Make main in a take's "…" menu to pick another.

Import old voice notes

  1. Open Create and tap Import voice notes.
  2. Tap Choose recordings and pick as many as you like. You can also share them to Aden from Voice Memos.
  3. Edit any titles, then tap Import.

Each recording becomes an idea track in your active team, with the date it was recorded.

Share from any app

Tap Share in Photos, Voice Memos, Files, TikTok or any other app and pick Save to Aden (Aden on Android).

  • A recording becomes a new track. Several open the voice note import.
  • Photos and videos start a post, or go to a track's gallery, its music videos or a session's files.
  • A link is saved as inspiration on your team, a track, a release or a session, or starts a post.
  • Text starts a post with it as the caption.

Create without opening the app

Siri and the Shortcuts app can open any creator directly: a track, task, session, event, post or album. See Ask Aden with Siri. If you are signed out, you sign in first.
