Use the Aden keyboard

The Aden keyboard types like any keyboard, and the row above its keys does what Aden's chats do beside their reply box, in any app.

Turn it on

1. Open Profile → Account → Aden keyboard and tap Open Settings.
2. On iPhone, tap Keyboards, turn on Aden, then turn on Allow Full Access. On Android, turn on Aden.
3. In any app, touch and hold the globe key (iPhone) or tap the keyboard icon at the bottom (Android), and pick Aden.

Allow Full Access lets the keyboard reach Aden to make links. What you type is only sent when you tap Ask Aden.

Your language's keys

The keyboard follows your language: Swedish gets å, ö and ä, French and Belgian get AZERTY, German and Swiss get QWERTZ. The space bar shows which one is on. Hold a letter for its accents, like é or ü.

To pick a layout yourself, open Profile → Account → Aden keyboard and choose one under Layout. On Android, switching keyboard language switches the layout too.

Send a track, playlist or album

1. Type # and part of a name, like #donu.
2. Tap it in the row above the keys. Its share link takes the place of what you typed. A track's link plays its latest version.

You can also tap the A button and pick from Tracks, Playlists or Albums.

Request files, start a session, ask Aden

Type / to see what the keyboard can do:

• Send a playlist: opens your playlists.
• Request files or Request documents: an upload link they can drop files into.
• New session or Plan a meeting: pick when it starts, and its invite link lands in your message. Add a name and a day to skip that step: /session vocals friday 3pm.
• Ask Aden: write what you want, like "tell Sam the mix is ready and send the latest Donuts", then tap Ask Aden. Aden's reply takes the place of what you wrote.

Suggestions as you type

When you write something the chats would act on, the keyboard offers it too. Write "here is the new mix of Donuts" and tap Send latest "Donuts". Write "studio friday 3pm?" and tap New session · Fri 3:00 PM.

Good to know

• It uses the team and tracks you last opened in Aden, so open Aden once after signing in.
• Asking Aden needs AI chat on your team's plan.
• iPhone shows its own keyboard in password and phone number fields.
