Fill in a track's details
Set the status, the metadata a release needs, BPM and key, and the links that belong with a track.
A track asks for more as it grows. An idea only needs a title. A finished master needs credits, identifiers and rights.
Move it through the stages
A track's status shows where it is: Idea, In progress, Ready to be released and Released. Change it from the status chip on the track, or drag the card to another column on the board. Your team can rename statuses and add its own under team settings.
Add metadata
Open the track's Metadata page. What it asks for follows the status:
- Idea: release dates and a pre-save link.
- In progress: also recording type, subgenre, title language, years written and recorded, AI tools used, explicit lyrics and the ISRC, ISWC and UPC.
- Ready to be released: also a rights and licensing block with label, catalog number, ℗ and © lines, licensing contact and sync clearance.
Everything is optional and stays editable. Once a track is ready, you can also set ad pixel IDs; leave one empty to use your team's.
BPM and key
Aden reads the tempo and key from every version you upload. The track shows the pair from its final version, or the latest one. Edit it in place under Details in the track's side panel. See Get BPM and key.
Keep links with the track
Lyrics in a Google Doc, stems in a Dropbox folder, a plan in Notion: keep the link on the track.
- Open the track and use Add link in the side panel.
- Paste the address and give it a name if you like.
Links show in a Links section in the same panel. Hover one and press the cross to remove it, with Undo. From ⌘K, type "add link" on a track. Studio sessions have the same Add link next to their date. The phone app shows links; add them on the web or desktop.
Move between sections
Click the section name after the track title to jump to any page of the track: files, metadata, team, planning, financials and more.
