Credit songwriters and teams
Add songwriters and whole artist teams to a track's credits, including people who aren't on Aden yet.
Add a songwriter
- Open the track's Collaborators, then People, and click Add user or team.
- On the Songwriter tab, search by name or email, or tap a face under Recent.
- Click the roles under their name to pick or type them, like Writer or Producer.
- Add an email for someone not on Aden yet, so they get an invite.
- Press Add for another row, then Add collaborator to save them all.
The icon by each person tells you what happens:
- A green ✓: they're matched to an Aden account you've worked with.
- An envelope: they're not on Aden and will get an email invite from you.
- A plain person: credited by name only. Add an email to invite them.
Add an artist team
- On the Artist team tab, search or tap a team under Recent. Type an @handle for a team you haven't worked with.
- Choose Collaboration, or switch on Feature (ft.).
- Choose whether the team shows in the public credits.
The team's artists fill in as rows, so you can credit them and set their splits right away. If you're an admin of that team, the link confirms at once. Otherwise the team gets a request to confirm, and the artists you picked stay credited either way.
A team that isn't on Aden
Tick "This team isn't on Aden yet" and type their name. They're credited at once. Share an invite link so they can join and claim the team, or use Email invite to send it to everyone filed under it.
While creating a track
The new track form has the same panel. Artist teams are credited through their artists until the track exists; link the team itself from the track's Collaborators page afterwards.
Teammates not on the track yet
Teammates of the track's teams who aren't on it show under the writers as dashed rows. Pick their roles to add them.
