Track references — pin related tracks & links
Pin related tracks to a track as inspiration or context — pick something from your own library, or paste an external URL (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify) with optional title, artist, and ISRC. References work both ways: you can see what a track references and what references it.
What it is
References let you pin related tracks to the one you're working on — "this remix references that original", "this is the vibe we're going for". A reference can be another track from your own library, or an external link from YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, or anywhere else.
Using it
Adding a reference track
- Open a track and go to the Content (references) panel.
- Choose an internal track from your library, or paste an external URL (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, etc.).
- For external links, fill in optional fields like title, artist, and ISRC so the reference is searchable later.
- Remove a reference any time with the trash icon.
Track collections — add a track to a playlist, album or mix
Drop a track into a playlist, album, or mix in one click from the track's context menu. The picker searches across every team you belong to, not just the active one, and hides crates.
Track documents — files attached to a track or version
Attach contracts, session notes, chord charts, or any file directly to a track or to a specific version. Organise into (virtual) folders, rename, share via a timed link, or delete — stored in R2 and metered against the team's storage.
