Track documents — files attached to a track or version
Attach contracts, session notes, chord charts, or any file directly to a track or to a specific version. Organise into (virtual) folders, rename, share via a timed link, or delete — stored in R2 and metered against the team's storage.
What it is
Documents let you keep a track's paperwork and supporting files right next to the music — contracts, session notes, chord charts, stems, anything. Attach a file to the whole track, or to a specific version when it only applies to one take.
Using it
Attaching a document
- Open a track and go to the Files tab (or a version's file panel for version-scoped documents).
- Drag a file onto the upload zone or click Upload.
- Rename it, organise it into folders, share it via a timed link, or delete it from the same panel.
Files are stored securely and count toward your team's storage. Sharing a document produces a temporary link that expires after the window you choose.
Track references — pin related tracks & links
Pin related tracks to a track as inspiration or context — pick something from your own library, or paste an external URL (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify) with optional title, artist, and ISRC. References work both ways: you can see what a track references and what references it.
Track play analytics — who played what, and for how long
See how many times a track and each of its versions has been played, when, and (for plays that came from a share link) which share they came from. Each play records where in the file the listener started and how long they listened.
