Track documents
Attach contracts, session notes, chord charts, or any file directly to a track or to a specific version. Organise into (virtual) folders, rename, share via a timed link, or delete. Stored in R2 and metered against the team's storage.
What it is
Documents let you keep a track's paperwork and supporting files right next to the music: contracts, session notes, chord charts, stems, anything. Attach a file to the whole track, or to a specific version when it only applies to one take.
Using it
Attaching a document
- Open a track and pick Files in the sidebar (or a version's file panel for version-scoped documents).
- Drag files onto the upload zone or click Upload. A batch uploads together, not one file after another.
- Rename them, organise them into folders, share via a timed link, or delete from the same panel.
Downloading several files at once
Hover a file or folder tile and tick its checkbox, or tick several. The header then shows how many are selected, with actions to download them (one file downloads directly, several arrive as a zip), send them as a transfer, delete them, or clear the selection. Covers, versions and other files Aden manages for you are not selectable: use Download folder on the folder itself.
Files are stored securely and count toward your team's storage. Sharing a document produces a temporary link that expires after the window you choose.
Track references
Pin related tracks to a track as inspiration or context. Search your own library, search Spotify by song name or ISRC, or paste any link. References work both ways: you can see what a track references and what references it.
Track collaborators
Add people and whole teams to a track's credits from the redesigned "Add collaborator" panel. Three tabs (Songwriter, Artist team, Create invite link) over one unified search and a shared multi-row editor with per-person splits, roles, IPI and access. Pick a past collaborator or invite someone new, link a team you've worked with (as a collaboration or a feature), and always credit that team's artists up front even when you don't admin the team. The same reusable panel powers session participant invites.
