Public download page

One public link that lists an artist's whole released catalogue with a preview player and per-format downloads, replacing a shared Dropbox folder.

What it is

One public page, aden.space/@yourname/download, where anyone can hear your music and download it in whichever format you uploaded: WAV, MP3, FLAC, a Dolby Atmos master. They can grab one file, one track's formats, or the whole page in a single click.

It replaces the shared Dropbox or Drive folder most artists send to DJs, press, labels and sync contacts. There's nothing to keep in sync: the page reads your music directly, so what you publish shows up and what you unpublish disappears.

You choose what it lists: every released track, or only the tracks you set up a download for: so you can share the whole catalogue or hand-pick it track by track. Either way the page is off until you switch it on, and it only ever shows tracks that are already public on your profile.

Using it

Turn it on. Go to your team's Settings → Website and switch on Download page. A "View download page" button appears with your link, and a Download tab shows up on your public profile.

Choose what to share. Under What to share, pick either:

  • Every released track: your whole public catalogue, automatically.
  • Only tracks I set up a download for: a track appears only once you've added a download to it, and disappears the moment you remove it. This is how you pick track by track.

Add a note (optional). The note sits at the top of the page. Use it for how you want to be credited, or where to write for sync and licensing. Edit it and press Save note.

Share the link. Send aden.space/@yourname/download to anyone. They don't need an account. They can search, filter by format ("show me everything you have as WAV") or by genre, play any track, and download. One file at a time, or with Download everything at the top of the page, which takes the lot in one go (as a zip for smaller sets) or everything in a single chosen format.

Turn it off. Flip the same switch. The page and the profile tab disappear immediately, and download links stop working.

What appears. A track shows up when it is released, public on your profile, and has at least one audio file, plus, in the hand-picked mode, a download set up on it. If a track is missing, check that it's marked released and public that's the same setting that puts it on your Tracks tab.

Locked downloads stay locked. If a download has a password, a follow-to- unlock, a payment or a pre-save on it, the page shows it with the reason and a link to its unlock page. Its files are never handed out on the open page and are never included in "download everything".
