Posts & social publishing
Create and schedule organic, sponsored, and inspiration posts for a team or org, then fan them out to connected social accounts (Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Facebook).
What it is
Posts are the way artists and labels publish content — articles, announcements, and social updates — from inside Aden. A post starts as a draft and can be published to your public profile, sent to social media accounts you've connected, or both.
There are three kinds of posts:
- Organic — content you create and own entirely. Most posts are organic.
- Sponsored — a post paid for by a label or brand (organisation). The sponsor must approve the post before it can go live.
- Inspiration — internal reference content (mood boards, references) that is never published publicly.
A post can be linked to a track, album, tour, event, mix, or milestone so your audience always knows what it's promoting.
Using it
Write a post. From your team's Posts page, click New post. Give it a title and write your content. You can add a cover image, a YouTube embed link, and an optional promotional link.
Connect social accounts. Go to Settings → Integrations and connect your Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, or Facebook account. Each platform uses OAuth — you'll be redirected to the platform and back automatically.
Pick where it publishes. Inside the post editor, select which connected accounts you want to publish to. You can pick multiple accounts on the same platform (for example, two Instagram accounts).
Publish now or schedule it. Hit Publish now to fan out immediately, or pick a date and time to schedule. Scheduled posts are queued in a durable workflow and publish automatically. You can cancel or reschedule before the time arrives.
Manage sponsored posts. If a post is sponsored, it stays as a draft until you send it to the sponsor for approval. Once they approve, you can publish it. Sponsors see pending posts in their org's Posts section.
View published posts. Your published posts appear on your public profile page
at /profile/[team]/posts, each with its own URL at /profile/[team]/posts/[slug].
Playlists
Ordered collections of tracks (internal and external) that a team can share publicly, sync to Spotify, and annotate with DJ metadata.
