Guides & knowledge base
Editorial country-specific knowledge articles (tax info, collecting societies, contracts, …) scoped to a team, an organisation, or the public, with an admin approval gate for public articles.
What it is
Guides are editorial articles that explain the practical, country-specific things a songwriter or artist needs to know — how collecting societies work, what taxes apply to royalties, which contracts to watch out for, and so on. They are written either by the Aden team or by organisations (such as collecting societies) that manage artists on the platform.
Depending on who wrote it and how it was shared, you may see guides that are private to your team, shared across your organisation, or published publicly for any visitor to read.
Using it
Reading guides in the app. Open the Guides section from your personal navigation. You will see every guide that is visible to you: publicly approved guides, guides shared by any organisation you belong to, and any guides your team has been given access to directly.
Browsing public guides. Public guides are also available without logging in
at the /guides landing page, organised by country. Use the country filter to
find articles relevant to where you work.
Organisations publishing guides. If you are an admin or owner of an organisation, go to Guides inside the organisation surface. From there you can:
- Click New guide to open the creation form.
- Set the country, a URL slug, a title, and the content.
- Choose the scope:
- Team — visible only to the specific teams you select.
- Organisation — visible to everyone in any active team linked to your organisation, plus direct organisation members.
- Public — submitted for Aden admin review; goes live once approved.
- Save. Team- and organisation-scoped guides are immediately visible to their audience. Public guides enter a pending queue until an Aden admin approves them.
Editing or deleting a guide. From the organisation guides list, open a guide and use the edit or delete controls. Only organisation owners and admins can do this. Changing the scope of an existing guide re-evaluates the approval state: switching to public puts it back in the pending queue unless you are a platform admin.
Growth — gifts, subscriptions & waitlist
Three independent growth levers — gifting a paid plan to another team, collecting fan email subscribers on public profiles, and managing platform waitlist / beta access.
Imports, bulk upload & export
