Account, auth & MFA
Identity, sign-in, profile, security, and account lifecycle for every Aden user.
What it is
Your Aden account is your personal identity across every team and organisation you belong to. It holds your name, avatar, email, timezone, and security settings — all separate from the teams you work in.
Aden is invite-only. Signing up requires a valid invite code. Once in, you can link a Google or Spotify account for one-click login, and optionally enable two-factor authentication to lock your account down further.
Using it
Sign up. Go to the register page and enter your invite code along with your name, email, and a password. If you were invited to a team, use the link your team admin sent you — it carries a one-time token that auto-joins you after registration. Click the confirmation link sent to your email before signing in.
Sign in. Use email + password, or click Continue with Google / Continue with Spotify. Tick "remember me" to stay signed in across browser sessions.
Reset your password. On the login page click Forgot password, enter your email, and follow the link in the email that arrives.
Update your profile. Go to Account → Profile (the default account page). You can change your name, avatar, DAW, timezone, IPI number, PRO name, and public passport visibility there.
Change your email. Go to Account → Profile and enter a new address. A confirmation email goes to the new address — click the link to apply the change.
Change your password. Go to Account → Password. You must enter your current password to confirm the change.
Connect or remove a login method. Go to Account → Login methods to link/unlink Google, Spotify, or Discord identities. You must keep at least one method linked.
Enable two-factor authentication (MFA). Go to Account → MFA, scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator), and enter the one-time code to confirm. After MFA is enrolled, the app will ask for a code on each new sign-in.
Delete your account. Go to Account → Delete account. The system checks that you have no sole-owner team memberships first. Deletion is a soft-delete and irreversible from the UI.
