Custom domains

Point a domain you own at a team's or an organisation's public pages on Aden, with DNS records, verification and a website/profile switch.

What it is

Your Aden pages normally live on aden.space. A custom domain puts them on a domain you own, martingarrix.com, links.mylabel.com, with the certificate and routing handled for you.

Both surfaces work the same way:

  • Team → Settings → Domains: the domain serves that artist's public pages.
  • Organisation → Settings → Domains: the domain serves the organisation's public pages.

Using it

  1. Add the domain. Click Add existing, type it without http:// or www, and add it. If your DNS is on Cloudflare, set the records to DNS-only (grey cloud): proxied records break verification.
  2. Set the DNS records. The setup guide shows the exact records to create at your registrar. They usually propagate in minutes, sometimes in a few hours.
  3. Verify. Click Verify. Once it turns green the domain is live.
  4. Choose what it opens. The Website switch decides what the root path shows: on, it opens the website page; off, it opens the profile.

Teams can also buy a domain from inside Aden, and turn on email sending for a root domain they own. Both are team-only: an organisation connects a domain it already owns.

Removing a domain detaches it immediately; the DNS records at your registrar are yours to clean up.
