Edit your website
Arrange sections, set up your hero and add your own text, right on your live site.
You edit your website on the page itself, and nothing goes live until you say so.
What's on it
- Music: your latest release with its streaming links, and the seven before it.
- Shows: your next ten public shows, with a Past shows button for the last ten.
- Highlights: your curated profile feed and your three latest posts.
- Contact: a short form that emails the contact you choose.
Your Book and Submit a demo pages are linked from the menu and footer. The header carries one button of your choice: Book, Submit a demo, or nothing.
Edit it
- Sign in and open your own website. An edit button floats in the corner.
- On a computer, click a section to move, hide or remove it. Hover between two sections to add a text or button block, then type into it.
- On a phone, Sections lists the same things: drag to reorder, hide, or add a block.
- Click the hero for the header and hero options.
- Press Done to publish, or Cancel to drop everything.
While you edit, your changes sit in the page's address. A reload keeps them, and you can send the link to someone for a look before you publish.
Set up the hero
The hero is your banner (or banner video), dimmed, with your content in the bottom left. Choose what it leads with:
- Your name, with your bio line underneath.
- Latest release, with its streaming buttons.
- Next show, with the date, venue and a ticket link.
Without a banner, the hero uses your latest artwork, blurred. With three or more covers, the Artwork trail effect makes them pop up along the visitor's cursor.
Highlights uses the same grid as your profile feed. See Curate your feed.
