Demo submission form
Labels choose how much their public demo portal asks for, the quick compact form or a full track-details form mirroring the create-track form, and signed-in artists see a demo-readiness checklist showing how complete their profile is (complete profiles have a higher chance of hearing back).
What it is
Labels and organisations that accept demos on their public portal
(/o/<slug>/demos) can now choose how much the form asks for:
- Compact: the quick form: your name, email, a demo link, genres and a message. Nothing changed here.
- Full track details: the portal additionally asks for everything a track normally carries on Aden: track title, BPM, key, ISRC (if the track already has one), cover/remix credits (original artist and title) and lyrics. Every detail field is optional. The label wants the full picture, but a missing BPM never blocks your submission.
You only ever fill in details about the track. Everything about you as an artist lives on your Aden profile, which the label can open from your submission.
Your demo readiness
When you open a demo portal while signed in, a demo readiness card shows how complete your artist profile looks to the label, with a checklist:
- profile photo
- full name
- Spotify connected
- an artist profile (team)
- social media links
- at least one track in your library
Each unmet item links straight to the page that fixes it. The more complete your profile, the higher your chance of hearing back. Labels prioritise artists they can actually check out. Submitting without an account stays possible where the label allows it, but account submissions are prioritised.
For labels
In your organisation settings (Website tab, visible when the Demos section is
enabled), pick the Demo submission form variant: Compact or Full track
details. Submitted details show up on each demo card of your demos page
(/org/<orgId>/demos: the single page for portal submissions and connected
inbox emails alike): title, BPM, key, ISRC and cover credits next to the
submitter and genres.
Sync portal
A kind-aware pipeline for sync licensing opportunities (film, TV, ads, trailers, games) and A&R briefs (a label looking for songs to cut): run by an organisation across its roster, or by an artist team on its own catalogue, on the same kanban board. Stages from first contact to placement with per-kind wording, brief criteria (genres, BPM range, reference), pitched tracks, an activity log and the money booked per deal. Also works with artists, tracks and counterparty companies that aren't on Aden yet, as a conversion funnel to onboard them.
Submissions vs demos
An organisation receives music through two separate pipelines, Submissions (artist teams on Aden pitching a track or album for a deal) and Demos (anyone, through the public portal or a connected inbox), on two boards that never mix.
