Turn your notes into leads

Met people at a meetup and wrote it down in your notes? Aden reads the notes and suggests one lead per person or company, with how to reach them and what you talked about. Nothing is added until you tick it.

Paste notes

1. Open Leads.
2. Click the arrow next to New lead and pick From notes.
3. Paste your notes. Put a blank line between people, with what you talked about under each name.
4. Click Read notes.
5. Untick anyone you don't want. People already in your leads start unticked.
6. Click Add.

Pasting the same notes again later is quick: only what changed is read again.

Link a notes folder in the desktop app

1. In the Aden desktop app, open Settings and go to Chats.
2. Under Notes to leads, click Link folder to pick a folder of notes on your computer, or pick an Apple Notes folder on a Mac.
3. Next to the folder, choose where its leads go: one of your teams or businesses.
4. Keep writing your notes as usual. New and changed notes are read while the app is open.
5. Press ⌘K and pick Leads from notes to review them. Tick who to add, then click Add. Dismiss hides people you don't want, and they stay hidden when the note changes.

When you first link a folder, only notes changed in the last 90 days are read. Click the cross next to a folder to unlink it.
