Review an import before it lands
Fix titles, status, credits and tags in the import table, and invite the people credited on your tracks.
Nothing is written until you confirm. Fixing things here saves editing 40 track pages afterwards.
Edit in the table
Title, status, visibility, release date, genres and tags edit right in the table. Your changes become the values each track lands with. Clear a release date to import without one.
Notes on a row opens the source description and its links. Filters narrows by source, In Aden, status, genre, tags, credits, release year and playlist. The search box has the same AI mode as your tracks: "soundcloud mashups not in Aden yet".
What's already in Aden
Each row says whether you already have it. A matching ISRC counts outright; names still match through artist prefixes, remaster suffixes and run together upload names.
- Already in Aden: near certain. The row can't be ticked.
- Possible match: the row stays importable and names the track it resembles. An extended mix or remix of something you have is your call.
Credit people on every track
Collaborators in the toolbar credits people on every track this import creates: people you've worked with, an artist team, or a name for someone not on Aden yet, with roles and splits. Click a name in a row's Credits to add that artist.
Defaults sets genres and tags for every imported track, and whether imported releases show on your public page, on by default. Turn it off to keep a migration private. Private SoundCloud uploads and files you upload always land private.
Review and confirm
- Click Review.
- Check what each track will be called, its tags, the artists it credits and its status. Edit titles and tags, or drop a track.
- The review lists every name the source credited, with how many tracks each is on. Type an email to invite that person to only the tracks they're on. Leave it empty to credit them by name.
- Confirm. Progress shows in the upload panel.
