Pick a file from a cloud or your email
Take files straight from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or an email attachment into any upload box.
Anywhere Aden takes a file, from track audio and versions to cover art, team logos and documents, the Upload chevron lets you skip downloading it first.
From a cloud
- Open the Upload chevron and choose Import from cloud.
- Pick Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Sign in the first time; Aden asks for read access only.
- Select one or more files.
A message shows each file's progress. When the last one lands, the upload carries on as if you'd dropped the file. Keep the tab open until it's done, since the download runs in your browser.
If a download fails, the message names the file, the reason and what to do next, usually picking it again.
From an email attachment
- Open the Upload chevron and choose From email.
- Pick the mailbox if you have more than one. Search by sender, subject or file name, and switch between the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Tick the attachments you want. Files over your plan's upload limit show but can't be picked.
- Choose Add files. They land in the upload box, where you can rename them before uploading.
Only files that fit the box are listed, so a cover art box only offers images. With no mailbox connected, the picker links to your team's inbox settings. Aden only reads mail; it never sends or deletes any.
