Keep files with a track

Upload contracts, notes and artwork to a track, a version or your team, sort them into folders and share them.

Upload files

  1. Open a track and pick Files in the sidebar. For your whole team, open the team's files. For one take only, use the version's files panel.
  2. Drop files on the upload zone, or click Upload.

A file with a name that's already taken gets "(1)" added, so nothing is overwritten. The Upload chevron also picks files from a cloud or your email.

Sort into folders

Drag a file or folder onto another folder, or onto a folder in the path above the list to move it up. Tick several first to move them together. Files dragged in from your computer land in the folder you drop them on. Without a mouse, pick Move to in the item's menu.

Covers, versions and other folders Aden manages can't take moved files.

Download, share or delete

Tick a file or folder tile, or several. The header then offers to download them (several arrive as a zip), send them as a transfer, delete them, or clear the selection. For files Aden manages, use Download folder on the folder.

Sharing a single file makes a link that expires after the time you choose.

DAW projects

Projects pushed from the desktop app sit under Project files, one folder each. A file deleted from a synced project stays for 30 days: restore it from Removed. See DAW projects.

Show media on your public page

In the team's media gallery, the eye button on a photo, video or audio file adds it to a Media tab on your public page. Press it again to take it off.

Let someone outside send you files

An upload link lets a photographer or engineer drop files into your team without an account. See Upload links.
