Release & shareShare links

Share a track

Create a private link to a whole track or chosen versions, set what it allows and send it.

Send a song to an A&R, an engineer or a manager without giving them an account.

  1. Open the track and go to its Share tab, then press Create share.
  2. On the left, pick what to share. All versions includes versions you upload later. Tick single versions below it to share only those.
  3. On the right, give the link a title and a description if you want.
  4. Turn options on or off with the pills. Downloads, Comments, Cover art and Label copy start on. Add a Watermark, an Expiration date, Notify on visit and the rest as needed.
  5. Leave the link address empty and Aden picks one, or type your own.
  6. Press Create link, then copy it and send it. Send by email sends a branded email straight from Aden.

The person who opens it can listen, leave comments pinned to a moment, and download if you allowed it.

Already shared this song? Active links at the top of the dialog lists the live links. When your settings match one exactly, the dialog offers Copy link so you reuse it instead of making a twin.

Every track menu (the "…" button or a right click on the board, the sidebar or Recent) has Copy share link and Share track.

  • Copy share link copies a link to the whole track. It reuses your newest live link, so copying twice gives the same address.
  • Share track opens the full dialog.

On a track page, ⌘K "Copy share link" does the same.

Share a few versions

On a track page, hold ⌘ (Ctrl on Windows). The dots on the version timeline turn into checkboxes. Click the versions you want, then Share in the bar at the bottom. The dialog opens with them ticked. Compare in the same bar opens the A/B player on them.

When a link holds several versions, listeners can type "latest", "final", "newest" or "oldest" in its search box, so nobody needs to know a version's name.

The track's Share tab lists every link. Open one to rename it, change its options or revoke it.
