Send a track to a chat or a demo inbox

Drop a song into an Aden conversation, or send it to another team as a demo, without copying a link.

The share dialog has three modes in its header: Link, Chat and Demo.

Send it to a chat

  1. Open the track's share dialog and switch to Chat.
  2. Pick who gets it:
    • People: a teammate, or anyone on Aden with a public profile. Search them by name.
    • Teams: a team you work with.
    • Organisations: one of your organisations. It goes into that organisation's shared chat.
  3. Add a message if you want and press Send.

The song lands as a card in the conversation. A link is made for it, so people who aren't on your team can still listen.

Send it as a demo

  1. In the share dialog, switch to Demo.
  2. Pick the team and press Send demo.

The track lands in that team's demo inbox like any demo submission. They get a notification and can listen right away.
