Personal diary
A private daily journal on the personal dashboard. One entry per day to reflect on yourself as an artist, with the ability to revisit and edit any past date.
What it is
The diary is a private, day-by-day journal on your personal dashboard. Each calendar day gets its own page where you can reflect on yourself as an artist — how writing went, your mood, an idea or a lyric worth keeping. It's private to you — only you can ever see your diary, and the lock in the widget header spells that out on hover.
Unlike the Quick notes scratchpad (a single running note), the diary keeps a separate entry for every day, so you build up a timeline you can look back on.
Using it
Add the Diary widget to your personal dashboard from the widget picker if it isn't already shown.
- Write today's entry: the diary opens on today. Just start typing; your words save automatically as you go (a small indicator confirms the save).
- Go back to earlier days — click the date in the header to jump straight to any past date from a calendar.
- Scroll recent days — the row of day chips under the header lets you hop between recent days; a dot marks days that already have an entry and today is ringed. A pinned label on the left always shows which month you're scrolled into. Scroll further back to keep loading older days.
- Get back to today — the Today button on the right of the header returns you to today's page.
- Keep a streak — a flame badge shows how many days in a row you've written. It counts consecutive days ending today (or yesterday, if today isn't written yet), so a daily habit builds up a visible streak.
- Edit any day: reopen a past day and change what you wrote; edits save the same way. You can't write into future dates.
