Media review

What it is

Every media gallery (on a track, album, team, event or tour) doubles as a review room, like frame.io: open any file full-screen, watch or listen to it, leave comments pinned to an exact moment in a video or audio file, and sign off with an approval status. Editors and videographers upload their cut, ask for review, and the artist or manager approves it or requests changes. All in one place, with the discussion attached to the file.

Using it

Review a file. Open a media gallery and click any item. The review view shows the file large (video and audio play right there, images zoom) next to its comment thread. On videos and audio, hit "Pin to time" while playing to attach your comment to that moment. Anyone can click the timestamp chip to jump straight to it. Markers on the timeline show where feedback lives.

Resolve feedback. Each top-level comment has a resolve checkmark. Once an edit addresses the note, mark it resolved. Filter the thread by open or resolved to see what's left.

Approvals. Use "Request review" on a file to flag it for the team; a reviewer then approves it or requests changes. Status badges show on the gallery cards, and the filter bar (All / Needs review / Changes requested / Approved / My uploads) works as a review queue, "My uploads" is the editor's view of everything they delivered and where it stands.

Any file type. Galleries accept video (MP4, MOV, WebM…), audio, images, and design or project files like PSD, AI or Premiere projects. Files without a browser preview get a download card, and the "Open in" menu links to editors like Photoshop web, Canva or CapCut.

File size and plans. How big a media file you can upload depends on your plan: big files are a top-tier perk: Free 100MB, Air 250MB, Pro 500MB, Ultra 2GB, and Max has no file size limit (upload files as large as storage allows). The upload dialog shows your limit; upgrade to Ultra or Max for multi-GB video uploads. Heads up: large files count more against your team's storage and can increase your bill, so keep an eye on file sizes.

Covers too. Track, album and playlist cover galleries have the same workflow: request review on a cover option, approve or request changes, and use the review filter bar as a queue while picking the final artwork.

Events and tours. Shows and tours have their own media gallery for aftermovies, photos and recap edits. An event's upload link drops outside uploads (your videographer's footage) straight into that event's gallery, ready for review.
