See who is missing a plugin

Find out who can't open a project because they lack a plugin, with a link to get it.

A project only opens properly when you have every plugin it uses. Aden knows which plugins each person has, so it warns before anyone opens the project: "Jay is missing Serum". Each missing plugin links to a web search to buy or download it. Plugins everyone has are never listed.

Share your plugins

  • Automatically: open the Aden desktop app on each computer you make music on. It reads the installed plugins and keeps your account up to date. A plugin on any of your computers counts.
  • By hand: go to Account, then Skills & gear, then Plugins, and type a name. Paste several separated by commas. Remove one with the x beside it.

People who never shared their plugins aren't flagged. Aden doesn't guess.

See the gaps

  • On a track: open Files, then Project files. A project someone can't open shows a warning button beside its play button.
  • In a studio session: look under the session's tracks. A warning row names who is missing what. Open it to see the plugins.
