Edit album details and credits

Fill in an album's metadata, keep its artwork and files together, and credit the people and teams on it.

Edit the basics in the sidebar

The album's right sidebar shows the title and status under the cover. Open Details to change visibility and the public link's address, the release date, up to five genres, tags and the UPC. A release date in the past on an unreleased album turns amber as a reminder.

Share and Download sit at the bottom of the sidebar. Delete the album from the actions menu in the page header.

Release metadata

The album's metadata page has tabs:

  • Details: title, artist, UPC and credits.
  • Platforms: find the release on streaming services and save its links.
  • Submissions: pitches to labels.
  • Sale: sell it through your shop.
  • Domain: give it its own web address.
  • Licensing: the licences on the release.

Artwork, media and files

The album's files page groups Artwork (covers and banners), Media, Inspiration and Files as tabs. The cover shows on your public profile when the album is public.

Credits

Open Collaborators, then People. It starts with the teams on the release, then a credit list per track, with roles and splits in each avatar's card. When every track has the same lineup, it shows as one line.

Two different jobs live in the Add dialog:

  • Add collaborator credits one person on the album with roles and split percentages (publishing, royalty, mechanical, sync, composition, master). They get an email and confirm through a link.
  • Link a team gives a whole team access to work on the album, and credits nobody. Pick one of your teams or any team by its handle, or share the Invite link so they bring their own.
