Set up your invoicing details
Add your legal identity, tax numbers and the bank accounts you're paid on, so every invoice is right.
Fill these in once, and every invoice you send carries the right sender details and payment instructions.
Add your legal identity
- Open your team settings and go to Tax.
- Under Legal identity, fill in your legal name, entity type, company registration number and registered address.
- Add your tax country, VAT number and any other tax number.
- Set an invoicing email if it differs from your team email, your default payment terms in days and your default currency.
- Save.
Copy from team profile fills in the name, email and country you already gave your team. When you issue an invoice, these details are its sender.
Organisations keep the same details in their settings under Billing.
Add a bank account
- In the same Tax settings, find Bank accounts.
- Press Add account.
- Enter a label (such as Main EUR), the IBAN, BIC, account holder and currency.
- Save.
Your first account becomes the default. Use the star to make another one the default. Invoices use the default account, and you can pick another one on each invoice.
Organisations add bank accounts from their settings or their billing page, the same way.
