Send invoices
Bill a client for a production, a show or a session, send it, and see when it's viewed and paid.
Bill a label for a ghost production, a sync client, a promoter or a retainer artist without leaving Aden.
Start a producer job
- In your team sidebar, open Invoices.
- Press New producer job.
- Pick the client from your contacts, pick a contract template, and set the fee, currency and delivery date. Co-production templates also ask for the royalty and publishing splits.
- Aden drafts the contract and the invoice together.
Invoices are numbered in order for each year, such as INV-2026-0001.
Send it and get paid
- Open the draft and send it, now or on a date you pick.
- Your client gets an email with a link to view the invoice. You can see when they opened it.
- Once the money lands, press Mark paid.
You can also duplicate an invoice to start a new draft from it, or cancel one you issued. For a retainer, set up a recurring series (weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly) and each invoice is made on schedule.
Invoice a show or a session
On a show you're booked on, press the Invoice chip next to the fee. Aden drafts an invoice with the fee as the line and the promoter as the customer. On an organisation session with a fee, the same chip bills the person coached. Once the invoice exists, the chip shows its number and status.
In ⌘K, type Invoice this show or Invoice this session.
Edit your contract templates
Open Invoices and go to Contract templates. Aden's own templates are read only: press Copy to get one you can edit, or write your own. Put a field name in double curly braces, such as the delivery date, and the producer job fills it in. Mark one template per type as the default.
