Clear a sample

Keep track of who you're chasing to clear each sample, and send the request with a private listen link.

Find your samples

Open the track, go to Collaborators, then Samples. Samples still waiting on a yes are listed at the top, with who you're chasing and when to chase again.

To add one, Choose from project or library picks the exact file from a synced project or your team's sample libraries, without uploading it again.

Clear one

  1. Research asks ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity who owns the sample and who to contact.
  2. Add contact saves the person, their label or publisher, their email and when to follow up.
  3. Create listen link makes a private, listen only link to your song and copies it.
  4. Draft email opens your mail app with the request written and the link included.
  5. Mark contacted records the date and plans the next chase a week later.

Overdue follow ups turn red. Once the master and publishing are both set to cleared, the sample leaves the list.
